Do you ever need a quick and easy centerpiece for an impromptu dinner, something that will make guests feel special without breaking the bank? This simple autumn pumpkin display is created from items most of us have on hand or growing in the backyard which makes it perfect for last-minute occasions.
Just take a cake stand and place a pumpkin from the market or garden on top then wrap clippings from your yard around its base making a nest of greenery. I chose a white pumpkin placed on my grandmother's vintage cake stand and a few clippings of eucalyptus along with some faux greenery from another recently dismantled arrangement. It took about ten minutes, if that, and made a very welcoming table display at my mother's home.
